Check out the new pool bar coming to Disney’s Grand Californian hotel !

Did you know that Disney’s Grand Californian was adding a new pool bar to its swimming pool area? It’s slated to open this spring.

Pools and decks at the upscale hotel, where rooms can cost more than $600 per night, were recently remodeled in 2017, along with guest rooms and the lobby.

This new addition will “keep with the hotel’s signature Arts and Crafts design with natural boulder stonework and clinker bricks. A custom tile mural at the back bar will also set the craftsman tone in the new space. In addition, a trellis structure will provide shade and a perfect respite to enjoy sipping beverages and snacking on appetizers. A variety of new lounge and table seating will also be available,” according to the Disney Parks blog.

Disney declined to provide any additional information about the remodel, except that the pools remain open during construction. The bar is an expansion of the existing White Water Snacks quick service restaurant, which is currently closed for remodeling, adding outdoor seating and access along the side of the building. In the past, White Water Snacks menu offered sandwiches, burgers, pizza and the like.
